Hutong offers four beautifully designed private dining rooms – perfect for business lunches, intimate dinners and celebrations.

The inner lobby exposes a dramatic black and white spiral marble staircase, the colors representing the Chinese philosophy of yin and yang.

This leads up to four exquisite private dining rooms adorned with ink-blue latticework and accented by dragon’s blood orange. The floors are covered in an abstract carpet, designed to resemble the misty landscapes of the Shanghai Avatar mountains.

JINYU PRIVATE DINING

The Jinyu room seats up to 10 at one round table or up to 20 as a standing room reception.

Our most intimate room is adorned with ink-blue latticework and accented by dragon’s blood orange. The floors are covered in an abstract carpet, designed to resemble the misty landscapes of the Shanghai Avatar mountains. One section of the lattice wall can open to room Jiuwan.

JIUWAN PRIVATE DINING

The Jiuwan room seats up to 10 at one round table as well as a standing room reception for up to 20 guests.

This room is adorned with ink-blue latticework and accented by dragon’s blood orange. The floors are covered in an abstract carpet, designed to resemble the misty landscapes of the Shanghai Avatar mountains. The lattice panel walls can open to rooms Mao’er and Jinyu.

MAO’ER PRIVATE DINING

The Mao’er room seats up to 16 at one long table or up to 35 as a standing room reception.

Our larger room is adorned with ink-blue lattice work and accented by dragon’s blood orange. The floor to ceiling lattice panel walls can open to room Luilichang.

LUILICHANG PRIVATE DINING

The Luilichang room seats up to 16 at one long table or up to 35 as a standing room reception.

Similar in size to Mao’er, this room has windows over 58th Street. This private dining room is adorned with ink-blue latticework and accented by dragon’s blood orange.

MENUS

Our carefully crafted menus in Hutong are based on a sharing concept of dishes that will be continually brought to the table over the course of your meal. Placed in the centre of the table, you and your guests will enjoy the delicious Sichuan-inspired flavors of our Northern Chinese cuisine.

For reception events, to offer flexibility, all canapés and plates have been individually priced so that you can tailor your reception menu to suit your guests.

When hosting either your seated or reception-style event with us, you will be invited in for a full tasting with your dedicated event specialist to design your bespoke menu.
