Hutong New York has four private dining rooms on the mezzanine: Jinyu and Jiuwan seat up to 10 each, Mao’er and Luilichang up to 18 each, and combined they hold up to 70 seated or 90 standing. The Main Dining Room holds up to 150 seated or 200 standing, and The Shanghai Bar & Lounge up to 90 seated or 150 standing.

Hutong New York hosts corporate dinners, business lunches, client entertainment and networking receptions, plus birthdays, anniversaries, rehearsal dinners, wedding welcome parties, press events, product launches, cocktail receptions and fashion events.

Yes. Hutong New York hosts standing cocktail receptions in The Shanghai Bar & Lounge, a private dining room or the Main Dining Room, with passed canapés, artisanal dim sum and Peking Duck stations. Receptions can also flow into a seated dinner, or combine both formats.

Yes. Hutong’s seated menus follow its signature sharing concept, while receptions feature canapés, small plates and food stations, with signatures such as Flaming Peking Duck and handmade dim sum. Menus can be tailored to your preferences to create bespoke menus.

Yes. Hutong New York accommodates most dietary restrictions and allergies with advance notice. Celebration cakes and outside desserts may also be allowed depending on the event and any fees, so share these with your Event Specialist early.

Hutong New York offers a variety of beverage packages, including open bar options for private events, cocktail receptions, corporate gatherings and celebrations, tailored to the style of event, guest count and preferred beverage selection. Wine and cocktail service is available for seated dinners, and outside wine or spirits may be permitted subject to advance approval and corkage.
